  3. This is excellent, Belita! I need to get bolder about taking shots like this. With people you always run the risk of making someone angry, so it makes me more than just a little cautious.

  4. In my opinion, he made an unusual choice, either consciously or un-consciously.

  6. aw, Belita, pulls on the heart strings that such things exist.
There was an article in our local newspaper a couple years ago where reporters were interviwing some homeless people for a special they were doing. There was one man in particular that peaked the interest of all. He had a decent job, health insurance even a retirement plan. He had 0ver 350,000 dollars in a savings account. He said he has no mortgage to pay, no utilities, very little food costs. His clothes were at a friends and he was welcome there to take showers or watch TV. He claimed to have loved his life and because he had very little 'cost of living' he had a good savings. When he was aged he would live off of his social security and retirement and his savings would buy him a nice little bungaloo on an island somewhere! So, there are times the homeless make a choice to be that way.

    wonderful photo!

  9. Perfect!!!!!
You really captured a great shot.
It shows compassion and shows us the tragedy of the homeless in this world today.

In Seattle they take pictures of homeless old people and call them the Dragon effect. It is a new technique
they have come up with. really neat.
