  1. This is pretty cool, Belita!! Now, did you select from premade letter sequences...or is the sequence your own and if so any special reason for R S T ?

  2. Half true, half not... The first photo of my selection was the Roofs then I tried to find in my folders one for S and another for T, considering that we had to post three photos whose subjects had to follow a sequence (of our choice) of three letters. That's the reason for the RST. Thanks, Linda, for your visit. I really appreciated it!.

    1. They are not the strawberries that you commonly see on sale. The tree is called Strawberry Tree (Arbutus unedo) and sometimes it's also known by "Irish strawberry tree" or "Killarney strawberry tree". I would say the taste has nothing to do with strawberries. Inside the fruit is yellowish. The fruit outside can be red or yellow. It's edible, though many people find it bland and meally. There are many of these trees in Portugal. The fruit is used to make a strong brandy. The poet Giovanni Pascoli dedicated to the strawberry tree a poem
O verde albero italico, il tuo maggio
è nella bruma: s'anche tutto muora,
      tu il giovanile gonfalon selvaggio
      spieghi alla bora
